I was hired into a small marketing team as the only designer on staff.

When I started, Oakridge had a logo suite, color palette, and typography, but when it came to marketing materials, it was all very corporate and templated.

I developed new branding assets, humanized the branding and marketing, and provided re-energized branding guidelines to assist the team in continuing this down-to-earth, friendly brand after my departure.

To expand brand recognition, I wanted to get Oakridge's audience familiar with specific elements of their brand.

Their green color was not utilized much, though it was a primary color. I began implementing more of this primary color in their marketing collateral. The leaf in their logo was sentimental to them, however it wasn't seen anywhere except in the logo. It's a major visual identifier, and after using it more, it has gained recognition without needing to see an entire logo.

I implemented a new typeface into their guidelines, since their typography consisted of three similar fonts.

Their tagline, "#1 in the Cedar Valley" was stylized as an asset itself.

I helped them move away from a "corporate" look with their property advertising, since they weren't a "corporate" brand. We were a friendly, "neighbor next door" brand.

Providing brand photography for each of the agents allowed me to utilize stylized photos in their marketing, allowing each Realtor's personality to shine through in their individual marketing.

Social Media

From social media graphics, cover photos, ads, patterns, to youtube thumbnails. I slowly worked to update the social media graphics Oakridge uses to market their agents and their company. I wanted to get them out of the Canva template look, and into impactful, intentional design with their social media messages.
